Issue
Windows Server 2012 will not activate when you try to use the UI to activate a license key.
Solution
Open a command prompt and run the following command
[csharp]
slmgr.vbs /ipk <license key>
[/csharp]
Where <license key> is your server license.
Press enter and wait about 30 seconds and you should receive a message saying “Installed product key
