I am working with support to see what I can do to make it stable. I will keep you updated below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Setup steps<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Login to your fritzbox<\/li><li>Expand Telephony and click on &#8220;Telephone Numbers&#8221;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/rWqnW3H.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click on &#8220;New Telephone&#8221;<\/li><li>Enter your telephone number in both fields (NOTE: This is an example phone number)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/eaHUUjA.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Enter Account Information<ul><li>Username: Enter the voip phone number as username<\/li><li>Password: Enter the password as supplied by Exetel<\/li><li>Registrar: spi1.exetel.com.au<\/li><li>Poxy Server: leave blank<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Additional Settings &#8211; leave defaults<ul><li>DTMF Transmission: Automatic<\/li><li>Use telephone number for registration &#8211; Yes (tick)<\/li><li>Always regsiter via internet connection &#8211; No (unticked)<\/li><li>Insert Area Code for outgoing calls &#8211; Yes (tick)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/3f7kwps.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click Next to the confirmation page<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/CGQFcLS.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click Next to finalise the setup<\/li><li>Success<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/CQ9qEeu.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click Next <\/li><li>Now your VOIP should be showing as connected.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/HZvcmoD.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Test by making a phone call to and from your phone number to confirm that it is working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Edit Phone Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After having setup if you edit your phone number there are lots of options.<br>The following shows the default configuration and how it is configured after setting up<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/Y38jVW6.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Line Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The line settings are all defaulted to essentially &#8220;OFF&#8221; with nothing ticked.<br>For Australia here is how the phone line settings are configured for me with a working connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/EVIJ0Bz.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My VOIP Issues with a Fritzbox and Exetel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I have written this guide as I have some issues with my VOIP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am experiencing de-registration of my voip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>After setting up or rebooting my router, the VOIP will be connected.<\/li><li>Approx 28 minutes later it de-registers with the following logs being recorded<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>08.08.20 16:00:16 The telephone number 0299717171 has not been available for more than one hour.\n08.08.20 15:57:31 Registration of internet telephone number 0299717171 failed. Reason for error: Remote site not responding. Timeout.\n08.08.20 15:34:35 Registration of internet telephone number 0299717171 failed. Remote site reports reason for error 400\t\n08.08.20 14:57:58 Registration of internet telephone number 0299729595 failed. Reason for error: Remote site not responding.
